Growlers Beer Bistro Tuckahoe, NY

I’ve been meaning to come to Growlers Beer Bistro in Tuckahoe for a while.  I mean, how do I not visit a place named “Growlers Beer Bistro?”

This day was not to be the day though.

Growlers Beer Bistro is located at 25 Main St, Tuckahoe, NY.  There’s municapal metered parking but it appears maybe not enough?  I found a spot, took my picture of the outside.  Growlers is within a great looking industrial brick building along with a couple of other business.

I walked over and couldn’t enter.  The place was jam packed full of people.  Like enough people that if you yelled, “FIRE!” someone might get hurt.  In addition, in the age of Covid, I just wasn’t going in even if I could squeeze in up to the bar.  With the quick look I took I did note that the faces were all smiling. 

So I went to another local place.  When I came back an hour or so later, the crowd had spilled out into the parking lot where they had set up a dunk tank.  It was about 25 degrees out.  Better them than me!

Anyway, I don’t have any review material and can only say that I shall return.  Maybe I’ll get there on a Tuesday afternoon or something when it isn’t crowded.
