Live Music and So Much More at Pete’s Saloon in Elmsford, NY

For almost 50 years, Pete’s Saloon in Elmsford, NY, has been a mainstay for great food, live music, and just an all-around great bar and restaurant experience!

Pete’s in Elmsford has been a great spot for a long, long time.  There is a long bar, American-style food, all the proper pub grub you could want, rotating taps, specials, and more.

Pete’s has been in operation since 1977, making it a longstanding establishment with over 45 years of history in Westchester. It’s located off the corner of Routes 119 (Main St) and 9A, providing easy access from nearby highways. The saloon is open seven days a week, offering daily lunch and dinner specials and Sunday Brunch specials. There is public metered parking in a lot across the street.

The venue is recognized for its live music, ranking as one of the top destinations for live entertainment in the area. It’s not only a place for music but also a community-focused eatery dedicated to delivering high-quality meals, competing with more upscale establishments in terms of food quality.  Pete’s isn’t the cheapest place to eat in the area, but the quality is top-notch.

On a couple of recent visits, I had both the BLT on Texas Toast and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap.  Tasty stuff!  They’ve got some great dinners as well as being famous for their Chicken Scarpiella.

The menu has had a recent makeover.  I pulled these directly from their website.  They also have a Sunday Brunch menu, a separate kids menu, drink menus, etc.  Best to check out their website!

The taps rotate on occasion, but most of what you’ll see on the blackboard below stays pretty consistent.  There are always seasonal varieties making their way in.  They also have a large selection of bottled beers.

As far as activities, Pete’s pretty much has it all.  You can see local live bands just about every Friday and Saturday and occasional brunch-friendly music on Sundays.  They have trivia night, Jukebox Bingo and more.  All the big games will be on their medium-sized screens so it’s a good spot to catch the game.  They also have a separate dining area where you can reserve as a party space.

And don’t forget the best time of the day when all drinks are discounted, and there are HH-priced bar bites as well.

And don’t forget to leave room for Dessert!!!

And certainly not least, is Pete’s yearly toy drive during the holidays.  This event in itself is famous in Westchester.  Santa will come and pick up all the toys left for Marine Toys f Tots.  It’s an all-day affair with bands playing most of the day and just a whole lot of warmth during the holiday season.  You’ll leave feeling all warm and fuzzy inside! (or maybe that’s just the whiskey)
