Great Mexican food and Tequila Selection!
Love me some good Mexican! Warm chips with salsa when you sit down, sizzling fajitas, frozen margaritas!
Maya Riviera has got to be one of the best Mexican Restaurants in Westchester. the bar scene is pretty good too.
The bar itself doesn’t have a ton of space. Maybe 15 stools or so, but there’s plenty of room to stand and hang if it gets busy. And it does on Friday and Saturday karaoke nights. The karaoke crowd is usually pretty hoppin’, too. The old timers are singing Sinatra, and the younger are doing Ricky Martin. Everyone is having a good time, though!
I mentioned chips and salsa and tequila…. The bar does have a great tequila selection as you can see in the background here, and the Tequila Menu.
There’s also a nice and pretty original cocktail menu
And I really can’t say enough about the food and the service. There isn’t a lot you won’t find on most Mexican restaurant menus, but everything they do here at Maya Riviera is exceptional. Service is quick and always with a smile. At times, you’ll also be treated by a mariachi band.
On this day, I had lunch with my daughter, and I had the Traditional Tacos while she had Tacos Birria. We were both quite satisfied!
While there’s plenty of dining room to go with the free parking, on busy nights, it can fill up, so plan accordingly. 3:00 on a Saturday afternoon isn’t much of a problem.
So, if Great Mexican is your thing, or if a great Tequila selection is your thing, or a good crowd for karaoke is your thing, then Maya Riviera should be your thing as well. Trust me on the food!

I adore this restaurant! I go here with my dad whenever we get the chance and always indulge in one of their many fun, fruity cocktails! You’re absolutely right about the food! I’ve been going for quite some time and order many different things and let me just say. I’ve never been served anything that wasn’t absolutely exceptional. I love this blog I visited some of the bars based on your reviews and they’ve all been great keep it up!
