Where to watch the Superbowl in Westchester
The only question left is, who’s taking home the trophy!?
Well, that and where to watch the game?
When it comes to taking home the trophy, we’ll let your buddy Tony give you some tips for picking the Chiefs or the Eagles, but we’ve got you covered when it comes to watching LVIII. It’s kind of what we do here. I put $100 on the Chiefs, so I’ll get back what, $0.28 cents?
The big game is on February 11, 2024, at 6:30, so make sure your calendar is free. And maybe you want to give your boss the heads-up that you’re taking the day after off. Superbowl Monday should probably be a national holiday or at least one of those non-federal holidays.
Oh, and in case you’re going to watch it live, you’re headed to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. I urge you to leave the debit card at home. Or maybe you’ll need it for beers while you’re not watching Usher at half-time. I’m going to opt for the PuppyBowl myself.
Where to watch Superbowl 58 is as important a decision as picking the team and maybe even more important because if your team loses, you still want to make sure you had the best time possible while being miserable. You also just might want to choose the nearest location where they’re showing the game. There are a lot of things to consider when picking a place to watch the game, such as:
- Location and Nearness
- Drink specials
- Big screens
- Crowd
- Parking
- Who’s got the best wings
- Who’s driving if there will be drinking while watching the game?? DUH!
Yes of course, who’s driving? It’s one of the smartest nights of the year to depend on a rideshare service, so you should seriously be considering that. Or maybe just watch the game at home and keep the rest of us safe!
Westchester Bars has you covered for choosing a venue to watch the game. Our favorites are below!
When it comes to watching the Superbowl, size matters… The size of the screen that is.
Buffalo Wild Wings
– You would think you can’t go wrong with watching the game at the BWW in White Plains. It will be a big crowd. There will be specials. Beer will flow. Wings will be consumed. Parking is a pain in the butt. The service is spotty and while there are a lot of flavor varieties, you can get better wings elsewhere.
105TEN – 105-TEN in Briarcliff Manor
– has some decent size screens. The bar will be full, but there are high tops with good views and then tables. Specials here are unlikely, but the wings and “Sticky Bites” are great for the game.
The Dugout – The Dugout in Ossining
– is an excellent sports bar in Ossining with a big main screen and smaller ones. The wings are outstanding, but it was either in this list or the one below. They have a private room as well if you want to rent it for a crowd. I prefer the wings here over B-Dubs though parking is kind of hit and miss here.
Burke’s Bar
– They have their big main screen and plenty of room though it’s a popular spot, so it will be full. Burke’s is great. Go there.
Looking for the best wings?
The Candlelight Inn
– The Candlelight has long been considered to have the best wings around. They are delicious, big, and just plain tasty. They’ve got their screens. It will be busy. Get there early. Uber home!
Applebees in Hawthorne
– Applebees has great wings and a large bar area. There are always drink specials! There is also plenty of free parking.
Demeters – Demeters in Tarrytown
is a great sports bar with a great crowd, plenty of screens, and some really great wings – just get the buffalo.
Hanging with the locals?
Foley’s Club Lounge
– Foley’s in Pleasantville will likely be packed. I was there for the Giants playoff game, and I couldn’t get in the place. It probably won’t be that full for the Superbowl, but it will be busy. Park in the KeyFood lot half a block away. Foleys has a great crowd for watching a game! Any kind of game!
Quaker Hill Tavern
– “The Tavern” doesn’t have a very large bar area but has a great local vibe. Park across the street.
Tuck’d Away
– Tuck’d Away in Tuckahoe doesn’t have the biggest screens nor the largest bar area. They do have great wings and a great local crowd, though. Definitely, a great spot to watch a game!
Are you looking to get a burger and watch the game and a beer that won’t cost you the same as a six-pack and great wings and hang with the locals? I’ve got one entry here…
Pipers Kilt
– So many bars, so little time. I’ve been to so many. “The Kilt” is still my favorite, and I can’t imagine it being dethroned. Best burgers, great wings, and very reasonable prices. The screens aren’t large, and the bar will be packed. Free Sunday parking across the street. Get there early if you can!
What if you’ve decided to stay in and watch the Superbowl at home? You’re surely going to need some beer!
The Green Growler
– Get your growlers here. They’ve got a nice rotating menu of craft beer on tap for growlers or a decent size refrigerated section to choose cans and bottles to take home
Soul Brewing
– Soul in Pleasantville is your local small-batch brewpub with some great homegrown beers to choose from. The strip there on Wheeler Ave. is great if you’re also looking to pick up pizza, sandwiches, and other catering options.
Captain Lawrence
– You Can’t go wrong with Captain Lawrence for great beer and growlers, and I’m sure they’re going to be doing something special for the big game. If you’re watching at home, though, growlers and choices a plenty at The Captain. Locations in Elmsford and Mt. Kisco!
Peekskill Brewery
– More great options for Growlers – You can watch the game here as well, but if you’re bringing it home, they’ve got some great taps.
Wolf and Warrior
– Go watch the first half at Ron Blacks and have some dinner. Then go around the corner to Wolf and Warrior, grab a couple of growlers, and finish the game getting snockered at home!
These are some of my favorite places that will be great for watching the game. I know you’ll want to try them all. Just make sure you have a safe time and get a designated driver or stay home!
Go Chiefs!
